Webhooks are here

We're back with another update. Our first webhook is here and ready to use.

First off will be entries. In short, you can subscribe to the entries webhook to get new entries send directly to you, when they happen in Dinero, regardless of where they come from. No more GET requests every few hours to keep up to date and synchronized.

Please note that webhooks are ONLY available for one-to-many integrations authorized through Visma Connect. This is NOT available for legacy integrations or personal integrations running through our API-key system.

How to use the new webhook

First make sure you have a Visma Connect integration. If you do not, you can go to our documentation and follow the Getting Started guide.

Next you can request the available events endpoint, this will only return the entries option as of now.

Then you can subscribe via the Subscribe to webhook endpoint and in the body include what event you want to subscribe to and what uri these events should be sent to. Now you will start receiving entries as they occur. Easy as that.

You also have the option to unsubscribe and get a list of active webhook subscriptions.

A future with webhooks

We hope to see a lot of use out of our new webhook and with that hopefully introducing more as time goes on. For now this is in a test phase to see how well it works and how well received it'll be. If it is a success we might tackle invoices next.
